The New Year has begun and time for New Beginner Line Dance Classes!
There are many people showing interest in taking up Line Dancing – maybe a New Year’s resolution to become active in a social, fun, healthy form of exercise and stress relief.

I am frequently coming across people who have learnt or improved their Line Dancing skills with the help of my Instructional Line Dance DVDs and it is good to know that these provide a core of dances which so many people around Australia, and the world, are familiar with.
When I ask which Line Dance is most popular with them, it is invariably Boot Scootin’ Boogie and Smokey Places for the easier level and then Fly Like A Bird and Girls Night Out for those who are stepping into the more challenging dances.
There are always new line dances being choreographed that can be intermingled with the old classics.
New Beginner Classes offer people the opportunity to step into the Line Dance world whether they have partners who don’t want or don’t like to dance, if they have lost a partner or find they have given up work and need an interest or kids who love to have fun and exercise with dance.
There are many husband & wife teams (couples?) who line dance together. It is unrestrictive with all age groups participating and enjoying from beginner level through to competition level with some travelling overseas to compete.
Everyone started as a Beginner! Come and join the fun.
